Each intimate but spacious guest room has amazing views, a king bed with high thread count 100% cotton linens and European style down duvet, a kiva fireplace with sitting area and reading lamps, vigas, antiques, Tiffany style bedside lamps, a desk and dresser, private telephone and thermostat controlling radiant heat in the floors, Bose radio/CD player, and ceiling fan. Northwing Rooms:
TRUCHAS has a view of Taos Mountain and opens to the courtyard with the rose garden, fountain and hot tub. The hand carved king bed wears a hand made Amish quilt. An antique desk and hand painted dresser complement this artistic and creative room which can be made into twin beds. The large walk-in shower is fully wheelchair accessible as is the bathroom sink.
SANGRE DE CRISTOis a large end room with views east and south to the Sangre de Cristo mountains. French doors lead to the courtyard garden and hot tub. The centerpiece of the room is a 7-1/2 foot tall heavily carved mahogany bed. Guests enjoy sitting in a green leather rocker and absorbing fantastic corner window views.
Southwing Rooms:
PEDERNALis our sunset room, facing south and west with views of the mountains, mesas and twinkling night lights of Taos below. The king bed is upholstered in leather as are the two chairs flanking the kiva fireplace. The private garden is the perfect place to enjoy spectacular sunsets
WHEELER looks south and east toward Taos Mountain. The king size iron canopy bed is dressed with a hand knotted canopy that whispers "romance" in the classic style. A handsome antique rocker and drop front desk complete the haven of luxury. The private garden offers outstanding views in three directions.
TAOS is the spacious end room and one beloved by honeymooners and those celebrating special events. The massive hand painted four poster king bed is a fantasy come true. A Victorian fainting couch is the perfect place to observe the magic of Taos Mountain unless the lure of the private garden can't be resisted.
